Sticky Sesame Chicken Drumsticks
(with Mt Barker Chicken Drumsticks, with Skin On)
This Oriental marinade add a beautiful sweet chilli flavour for your BBQ, or why not try with rice and salad as a main meal.
• 12 (about 1.8kg) Mt Barker Free Range Chicken Drumsticks with skin on
• 1/3 cup (80ml) tomato sauce
• ¼ cup (60ml) soy sauce
• ¼ cup (60ml) honey
• 1 tbs sesame seeds
• Sweet chilli sauce to serve
1. Combine the tomato sauce and honey in a glass or ceramic bowl. Add the chicken and toss to coat. Cover and place in the fridge for 30 minutes to marinate.
2. Preheat oven to 200C. Line a baking tray with non-stick baking paper. Place the chicken on the tray and bake in the oven turning once, for 40 minutes. Sprinkle with the sesame seeds and bake for a further 15 minutes or until the chicken is golden and cooked through. Place on a serving platter and serve with sweet chilli sauce.
