Massaman One Pot Special

Recipe Notes

*Tip: Roast off some peanuts to top your meal for some extra crunchy and toasty bits.


  • 400g Mt Barker Massaman Chicken Curry
  • 250g Pre-cooked coconut rice
  • 1 tbsp Ghee (clarified butter)
  • 1-2 Fresh green chillies
  • 1-2 Fresh red chilllies
  • 1 Handful of fresh coriander
  • 1/2 Handful of fresh mint
    *Optional peanuts for roasting and garnishing


  1. Place a dutch oven pan over your stove and set heat to medium temperature.
  2. Add ghee to pan along with the contents of your Mt Barker massaman chicken curry.
  3. Sprinkle rice over chicken and cover pan for 10-12 minutes on medium-low heat.
  4. Slice your fresh chillies and herbs while your rice and chicken simmer away.
  5. Take your pan off the heat, fluff and stir everything together to loosen.
  6. Garnish off with chillies and herbs, and enjoy!
